The 1064 nm near-infrared wavelength penetrates more deeply for coagulation and haemostasis, while 532 nm is strongly absorbed by haemoglobin for precise superficial vascular work. Fibre delivery and endoscope compatibility bring this dual-wave approach into narrow lacrimal and ENT anatomy.
