Ligenesis becomes vice-chair of Wuhan’s laser quality innovation alliance
The alliance will coordinate companies, researchers and quality organisations around shared technical challenges.
Wuhan’s laser-industry quality innovation alliance was established in Optics Valley on 18 September 2025. More than 120 government, company, research and quality-service representatives attended.
Wuhan has a complete laser supply chain, but uneven quality levels and inconsistent process and material standards can limit high-end development. The alliance will pool resources around core-component precision, equipment reliability and common technical standards.
Ligenesis was appointed a vice-chair unit in recognition of its medical-laser technology and industry role. The company operates international quality-management systems covering development, manufacturing and delivery.
Ligenesis will work with other alliance members to connect technical innovation with quality standards, solve shared supply-chain problems and support the high-quality development of China’s laser industry.
