Ligenesis disposable medical laser fibre receives NMPA approval
The approval marks another step in the company’s medical-laser consumables portfolio.
Ligenesis has received NMPA approval for its single-use medical laser fibre, registration number 鄂械注准20262016142. The product supports laser treatment in urology, gynaecology, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, neurosurgery and minimally invasive thoracic procedures.
The fibre uses an SMA905 connector, covers wavelengths from 300 to 2,400 nm and is available with core diameters of 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1,000 μm. Configurations include flat, ring and tapered tips, with power support up to 150 W.
Designed for single use, the product has undergone biocompatibility, high-temperature and corrosion-resistance validation. The approval extends Ligenesis’s portfolio from laser systems to a critical clinical consumable and supports further collaboration with hospitals on safer, more precise laser procedures.
