Liu Jianjun appointed enterprise graduate mentor at China University of Geosciences
The appointment supports a dual-mentor model connecting university research with medical-laser practice.
China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) has appointed Ligenesis chairman Liu Jianjun as an enterprise graduate mentor, supporting the university’s dual-mentor approach to industry–education integration.
Ligenesis traces its medical-laser work to the Laser Equipment Factory of Huazhong University of Technology, founded in 1987. It now works across respiratory health, women’s health and minimally invasive urology.
The university is developing interdisciplinary education around artificial intelligence, information technology, earth exploration and ecological health. Liu will connect front-line industry needs with academic research and help students strengthen practical and cross-disciplinary thinking.
Ligenesis will continue joint research and talent development with universities, using industry resources to support education while translating scientific progress into clinical and manufacturing innovation.
