Ligenesis and Haifu combine laser and focused ultrasound for women’s wellness centres

Ligenesis has formed a strategic partnership with the Haifu focused-ultrasound platform developed from Haifu Medical’s ultrasound research. The collaboration combines Ligenesis’s women’s health and wellness-centre experience with more than 30 years of focused-ultrasound development.

Haifu’s technology originates from the State Key Laboratory of Ultrasound in Medicine and Engineering at Chongqing Medical University and is supported by independent Chinese intellectual property and extensive clinical research. Ligenesis traces its own medical-laser work to the Laser Equipment Factory of Huazhong University of Technology.

The partners intend to integrate precise focused ultrasound with the Ligenesis women’s health and wellness-centre framework, creating safer, more personalised services that support women across different stages of life.

The cooperation combines complementary technologies and will support the development of women’s wellness centres nationwide through clinical standards, service pathways and equipment planning, helping more women benefit from domestically developed medical technology.
