Ligenesis helps establish a laser-medical committee and an industry–academia–clinical platform
Ligenesis serves as the committee’s secretary unit to support clinical and industrial collaboration.
On 14 March 2026, more than 130 representatives attended the first expanded council meeting of the ninth Hubei and Wuhan laser societies at the new optoelectronics building of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The meeting was hosted by Ligenesis.
The Laser Medical Professional Committee of the Hubei Laser Society was formally established at the meeting. Ligenesis serves as its secretariat, company chairman Liu Jianjun serves as secretary-general, and a 91-member expert group will support academic leadership, innovation, standards development and industry enablement.
General manager Zhu Xiaofeng, medical director Liu Yue and manager Zhen Qianwen were elected as committee members. Technical reports covered laser medical equipment, laser ablation for lung nodules and HSIL, and femtosecond-laser applications, laying the groundwork for a province-wide medical-laser collaboration network.
