Ligenesis joins Hubei laser-industry development meeting
The provincial meeting connected government, research and industry around a stronger Hubei laser ecosystem.
On 7 January, Hubei vice governor Cheng Yongwen reviewed laser-industry development in Ezhou and chaired a provincial meeting on high-quality growth. The meeting called for deeper integration between scientific and industrial innovation and for Hubei to seize the strategic opportunity of the laser era.
Ligenesis attended as a medical-laser technology company, a member of the Optics Valley laser association and a vice-chair unit of Wuhan’s laser-industry quality innovation consortium. It joined government, clinical and industry representatives in discussing practical development paths.
The meeting focused on industrial clustering, leading enterprises, project delivery, core technologies and the effectiveness of innovation platforms. It also emphasised cooperation between government and companies and stronger support for enterprise-led innovation.
For Ligenesis, the priorities of frontier applications and coordinated supply chains closely match its work in clinical laser systems. Medical laser technology depends on both upstream technical capability and close cooperation across research, manufacturing and healthcare.
The company will participate in Hubei’s chain-leader, anchor-enterprise and innovation mechanisms, strengthen collaboration with research institutes and supply-chain partners, and accelerate the clinical translation of laser-plus-medical solutions.
