Ligenesis receives a 2021 high-tech enterprise recognition award
The East Lake High-tech Development Zone recognised the company’s sustained research, technology transfer and independent innovation.
The East Lake High-tech Development Zone Science and Technology Innovation Bureau announced the first group of enterprises receiving its 2021 high-tech enterprise recognition award. The group covered companies that had passed renewed recognition and larger enterprises receiving the qualification for the first time.
High-tech enterprise recognition evaluates sustained research and development, technology transfer and independently owned intellectual property. Ligenesis successfully passed the review as a representative Wuhan medical-laser enterprise with roots in the Laser Equipment Factory of Huazhong University of Technology, founded in 1987.
The company operates under ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality systems. Its Nd:YAG system received a National Science and Technology Progress Award, while its CO₂ laser, epidemic-response equipment, medical laser fibres and domestic medical-equipment selections have received national, provincial and industry recognition.
The award acknowledges the team’s work during 2021 and reinforces Ligenesis’s commitment to reliable engineering, clinical evidence and domestic medical-laser innovation with international competitiveness.
