The 2025 Hubei gynaecological laser forum focuses on women’s health
Nearly 300 clinicians and specialists met in Optics Valley to connect engineering innovation with gynaecological care.
The fifth Hubei Laser Medicine Application Forum and gynaecological laser seminar was held at Huazhong University of Science and Technology on 1 and 2 November 2025. Nearly 300 specialists and clinicians from maternal and child health institutions across China attended.
The programme focused on closer integration between engineering and medicine and on responsible clinical adoption of laser technology in gynaecology. Professor Li Zhengjia and other academic leaders reviewed the broader role of lasers and the importance of translating innovation into care.
Ligenesis chairman Liu Jianjun discussed domestic innovation and import substitution in medical laser equipment. Clinical sessions covered pelvic-floor rehabilitation, reproductive health, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, vulvar care and department development.
Speakers highlighted the need for clear indications, standardised operation, risk management and stronger evidence. They also shared experience with the Fuhao CO₂ laser as a precise, minimally invasive platform across selected clinical pathways.
The closing discussion addressed practical questions from clinicians and reinforced the forum’s goal: advancing laser technology while protecting patient safety and improving women’s health services.
