1987
The Laser Equipment Factory of Huazhong University of Technology was established, beginning a long-term focus on medical lasers.
1997
Product applications expanded across surgical and specialist departments.
2007
The portfolio evolved from individual systems into multi-category clinical platforms.
2017
ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 systems supported the next stage of product development.
2018
The business formally adopted the Ligenesis name and began a new chapter of brand development.
2020
Ligenesis received industry recognition while supporting the medical community during the pandemic.
2021
Products were selected for the seventh catalogue of outstanding domestic medical devices.
2022
The company received a Hubei Science and Technology Progress award and was recognised as an enterprise technology centre.
2023
Ligenesis was recognised as a specialised and innovative enterprise in Hubei.
2024
The Muyu LED portfolio expanded the company’s light-based treatment offering.
2025–26
The company joined new laser-industry collaboration platforms and became secretary unit of the Hubei laser-medical committee.
